Idea notebook

A small GI2MO-inspired prototype for recording a project idea, choosing a category and keeping comments with it.

Start with one idea below. Then find it in the list and open it to add a comment. Ideas, comments and categories stay in this browser. Download a JSON backup to keep them or move them to another browser or site address.

New ideas start as Draft. This version has no status-editing, approval or project-tracking workflow.

What GI2MO contributes

The Generic Idea and Innovation Management Ontology (GI2MO) supplies type identifiers for ideas and comments, plus status names. This is a small data-model demonstration, with no ontology reasoning or interoperability validation. Your category labels do not create ontology classes.

The wider design includes possible contests, evaluation and integrations; those features are not implemented here. Source and design context (may require access)

Choose your own categories

Type or paste one category per line, or choose a .txt file or a JSON array of labels. No installation or coding is needed. Files are read in this browser and are not uploaded to a server.

Saving replaces the choices for new ideas in this browser. Existing ideas keep their categories and remain searchable and filterable.

Up to 200 categories, 100 characters per label. Empty lines and exact duplicates are ignored. Reading a file fills this box; choose Save categories to apply it.

Back up or move your notebook

The JSON backup includes every idea, comment and current category. Keep the downloaded file somewhere you control. Importing a backup replaces the ideas and categories saved in this browser after you choose Replace notebook.

Reading a file fills the box without changing saved data. You can inspect or correct the JSON before importing. Maximum 5 MB.
